Iberê Camargo is one of the great names of the art of the twentieth century. Author of an extensive work, which includes paintings, drawings, gouaches and engravings, Iberê was born in Restinga Seca in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, in November 1914, having spent much of his life in Rio de Janeiro. He had his work acclaimed in exhibitions of international renown.

Candido Portinari was one of the most important Brazilian painters and also a prominent and influential practitioner of the neo-realism. Born of Italian immigrants in a coffee plantation near Brodowski, in São Paulo, Portinari will become the most famous Brazilian painter in all world. Portinari painted more than 5 thousand screens.
